What is urk?

urk is a cross-platform IRC client written purely in python and designed for the GNOME Desktop environment. It has a built-in scripting system (also python), which is used to implement much of the client.

Getting urk

We recommend using a cvs snapshot in bzipped tar format or zip format. These are updated whenever we make changes that we don't think will break anything. CVS is also an option, but public CVS is often older than the snapshot.
